I mentioned my Exige cam system a little while ago - didn't have it quite complete. All done now...cross posted from the Lotus forum.

The under dash shots look much messier that it really is. It's a very tidy little install.

Kenwood SatNav/DVD - 7inch in-dash screen.
Bullet Cam at the front - wired through the bodywork.
Mini-cam at the back - wired through the tub.
Both cams powered from the ignition via 12v regulators.
Switch box mounted under dash and two buttons near the steering wheel so I can select front or rear cam when driving.

Video and microphone feed go into a Sony Mini-DV cam mounted on a stand in the passenger footwell. It's got touchscreen controls so I don't use a LANC. I've got a 6hour battery + 12v power supply just in case.

The picture is great - not taken it on track since the cams were installed but have lots of footage of A and B road miles

cheers

Looks like an impressive system. Plus bagpuss in the car has to be worth an extra 3-5bhp?

what did you mount the video camera to? I bought a flexible thing from maplins but it was rubbish and looking for something a bit more sturdy

Yeah Bagpuss gives about 5bhp on the top end ;-) - I'm hoping for the supercharged Bagpuss to come out later in the year.

The mount is from...
www.b-hague.co.uk/camera_suction_pads_vacuum_mounts.htm

I got both the suction pad (which was fine mounted on a side window of my old car running on full slicks) and also the superclamp.
