Ok in something of a quandary here as there is a pic posted in the original thread that was not put in the official entry thread. I have to give it a mention though as it was a cracker and made me laugh - that pic is :

However from the official entries we have
In third place:
Tall_Paul's postbox, a great pic and I especially love it because it didn't actually have any red in it.

In second place:
rustybin's children on stairs, a late entry so only seen it for the first time tonight but it really caught my eye, love the square crop and perfect shutter speed for the feeling of movement without it losing too much detail.

But the winner is (and you were right to have concern that this might not have been entered Mrs F):
cy88's Jaguar, no explanation needed, it is just super.

Originally I was meant to be away all day today with a stupidly early start so wanted to get it all tied up last night (ideally without sitting up into the night), otherwise would have been the 2nd before I could get it done. Nice pic by the way Imperialism.
