Who was the BRM driver? (6th down) Is it Gethin (at an outside guess)?

Love the 8th picture down, just underneath Jacky Ickx - the pitlane garage picture. What a world away from a modern F1 garage that is!

Ah - thanks!

All before my time, and that's the excuse I'm sticking too!

Interestingly, the above photo of Nicki Lauda was taken a few years before his accident at Nürburgring where he was pulled out of his burning car by Arturo Mezario and Guy Edwards. Mezario is in the shot above Lauda and the Barclays International Lola is Guy Edward’s car (you can see his name on the helmet).

Before mine too, it's just he looks exactly the same now as he did then.

Brilliant!!

I hope you can find the time to put more up?
There's something about old photos like that...just great.

Perhaps you should put them up on GG, must be a lot of petrolheads out there who are not into photography?

They/we look at General Motorsport and it won't get bumped off the first page very quickly either.

It's interesting to compare the 1961 shot of Graham Hill and the 1972 shot.

Terrific photos once again. I get the impression that some privileged access was available and good use was made of it.

Fantastic pics once again! Superb era of sportscar racing and some very personal pics of the stars in their cars.

As I said in the Brands '61 thread, spectacular! Thank you so much for sharing.

Same over here. I very much would like a large and thick book with all those fantastic racing pictures of the 50's, 60's and 70's.
Certainly beats watching television.
