Ecellent Tristram! Thank for the Noble shot

Did you see a Titanium one reg V60 GTO (inferior copy) with the wing off? If you did, what did you think? I've got my wing off at the moment too...I think it looks rather classy.

Martin.

Hmmm, well at least I took my wing of with a spanner Martin!!!

- glad you've finally seen the point - oooh, it does take some people a while to appreciate style!

And as to your "inferior copy" comment - may I remind you mine was built first so whose is the copy?!

Afraid not, but that was probably due to the red glare that was soaking the entire area. There were an awful lot of red Ferraris alone, and still more red from other makes ! I was in a kind of shock at all the expensive machinery there, and my mind went blank when I contemplated the cumulative value !

Wish I'd spotted that piece of debris on the highly polished bonnet of the Lagonda before I took the shot.

Also noticed a tall chap with long lens, large tripod with camera bag hanging from it and using a cable release to take pics. Was it anyone from here indulging in a bit of stability overkill ?

Not guilty, and yes I spotted him too. Tripod at full extension (so eye level) and stood taking pics of my car as I was taking a couple myself from the floor. I mean, what was the tripod for? Why in midday bright sunshine would you need a tripod to combat camera shake???

Correcto El Jenkins - I could have had yours but went for the low-cost option :-)

Right, that was a deciding factor - that I'd have two V60 XXX plates. Interestingly I was toying for ages with R5 GTO (RS = initials!) for my Noble - at that time it was only £250 from DVLA but obviously decided on the V60 route

Excellent shots te51cle, I'm sure I was only doing a couple of mph at that point, but the 'action' pic makes it look a lot quicker
