Not a huge number of cars I felt like snapping today, mostly chav wagons. But here's a few that did catch my eye.

Yeah, it's always mental at the action days, I never go on the track - plenty of other opportunities to do it without dozens of chavs in Saxos littering the place hehe

Hi miniman,

That's funny, you must have been standing about 10 feet away from me!!!

I wish my pics were that good - I just didn't get in the groove with it. The screen on the camera made me think the shots were all blurred, and that my panning was terrible, having now looked at the shots most are sharp(ish!) and so I probably could have dropped the shutter speed - my shots haven't got enough sense of speed to them. I was also trying to hard to juggle a passenger ride and photos of my mates Elise (blue one - bloody fast!) etc...excuses excuses!

Just going through my pics now, not sure there are any worthy of posting lol!

I haven't been to an action day for maybe 2 years, and I thought it was a definite improvement over previous years in terms of marshals, safety, and (in most cases) the driving standard.

Yeah I would agree with that, it certainly wasn't as bad as it's been in the past. But still I've done private track days there for £95, 10 cars on track max, 30 cars total. I think they were charging £30 for 15 minutes today with 30-odd cars out at a time.

I almost phoned the circuit police last time I was there. Never seen such chaos on track... 40+ cars of all skills, speeds and abilities (with no manditory drivers briefings) on track at the same time - cars off all over the shop. Glad to hear they might have got the BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS message.

I love Combe (except Avon Rise) and hope they can keep it open under severe pressure from locals who moan at the noise (and who bought houses next to a race circuit rolleyes ).

I can relate to that Steve, it used to be appaling. Great for spectating, but awful if you're on track in a session with a numpty. My friend had to do a briefing and as a passenger I had to buy a £5 pass to include insurance (well worth it - I think its a great idea) and my wristband was checked before being allowed out. They have warnings at the end of the pitlane about cold tyres - but not everyone seemed to notice! And most drivers were courteous towards the very rapid Elise I went in and moved out of the way. Although a clio driver nearly sideswiped us at 100mph......
