Hi All,

I am sure many of you are doing the same as me and trying to sort through the many photos you have of your day at fairford. I think I took around 800 shots today, I have narrowed them down to 280 and then after having another good look I have finally got down to 134 I believe.

It was a great day. It did however take around 3 hours to get to fairford from Devizes but hey ho, it was worth it. The weather was lovely and the sky in most of my photos is a nice deep blue. Anyway I hope you all had a great time. Please feel free to add your photos of fairford on this thread but I shall start:

Some of mine, didn't take that many as I realised a 200mm lens wasn't going to be enough.

kiwisr - Where were you stood today? Your photos are very similar to mine and I wonder whether we were standing near eachother? Were you anywhere near the disabled paddock??

Nik

Thanks, Next to some sort of paddock, Jubilee Paddock I think. In the public area in front of the grandstand. I moved around a bit though as most people seemed to have set up their own little camping areas by the time I got there.

...is it working now??

Yes it is beer

Following on from the above thread yes the Thunderbirds (not blue angels biggrin ) were quite close though i was using my 70 - 300 lense, which helped. Anyways, finished going through all my photos now so here are a few more. (Apologies if I have posted double of a photo)

O.K here we go.

Had to spend ages with the clone tool (dust spots) and the cropping tool to get the most out of these. Here are a small selection of 900+ photos. yikes

Fantastic shots 350Wedge thumbup Especially like the first one, especially as I've never seen one close up, and the thunderbirds shot against the dark sky is great.
