Recommended Photoshop book or manual?
Discussion
Yes, it's me again
This time I'm after your own experiences with Photoshop books or manuals. I've got to the point where I want to pick up the pace on Photoshop but don't want to buy the wrong book (there's quite a choice out there). I'm trying to avoid reference books and books obsessed with digital photography. I really need a proper guide that covers the basics *and* the advanced stuff. A couple of tomes that have caught my eye are Photoshop CS3 Bible and Adobe Photoshop CS3 Classroom in a Book - anyone used these before? Any favourites or recommendations out there?
Cheers,
Andy

Very worthwhile running through this.
I learnt an awful lot from it.

I recommend learning photoshop from videos rather than a textbook. Learning stuff is way faster and makes sense first time. Digital photo mag has a dozen video tutorials on the free cd each month.
