I'm assuming it's dust I'm getting here? Never had an issue with it on the 10D but the 1DmkII has ate a few big bits already. I can't see anything on the sensor but I assume that's normal? I'm a bit new to this dust problem...

Here's the example shot :-

Thanks

Phil

Sign, now if we used some kind of changable plastic stuff to take pictures, this wouldn't be such an issue.

PS - at least I've got ISO 100 though

Ah you spotted the ISO800 faux pas? I was trying to get a bird in flight coming out of a nest box so had everything set for fast fast fast, when this chap buzzed over.

The 1DmkII's have an ISO L setting which is about ISO50 too...

Right, a bit of search time as I remember some threads on sensor cleaning a while back.

Thanks chaps.

You should have stayed around with the other spotters Photoshop is your friend..... bringing the plastic fantastic out to play tonight?

It's dirty as a dirty thing and there's no sun here either now . If you took any pics it'd look like the Noble entry into the WRC! Worth it? Hhhmmm.

Some interesting stuff, thanks.

I'm still trying to get my head around the D70 / ISO200 thing. Good news for suppliers of ND filters I guess.
