Sorry to hear that Tinks. You are right, you only live once. Hopefully you can find a way to keep the S even if it means mothballing it for a while, especially after you've got it looking "a bit" nice...

Sorry to hear that you both have trouble on the jobs front - a number of us have been through similar over the last couple of years so I can truly sympathise.

My S is still in bits (18 months now ) as I'm slowly finding my financial feet after almost a year out of work - other things have to take priority but I must admit having the S off the road is great motivation to get myself sorted. I will then be able to justify spending money on getting the car back on the road again & back to touring the UK & Europe with the gang (trips which we both miss a lot) - hoping to get down to Newark Kit Car show this year (even without the S) to catch up

I marked the date on the calendar.
So I will try to join you on sunday in Germany or on monday in Meiringen (CH) to drive some passes with you. Because on sunday there is an Oldtimer-Meeting in my hometown which I will maybe go to see.
