Sounds like an excellent plan Psychobert - better still perhaps add names from this thread looking interested, and email saying 'propose Leven make the following shiny things for the S - tick appropriate boxes to express serious interest'
switches round [ ]
switches rectangular [ ]
stalks [ ]
bezels [ ]
air vents round [ ]

Just a thought, although I think LeeBee is doing some of the above?

Yes I am still working on all of the above, just had a new workshop built so I can sort things out a little easier. Will be meeting with my machinist this week to hopefully progress with a few items

Depending on time scales, personally if LeeBee is going to the trouble to make all of the above items including stalks I would prefer to get them from him!! I didnt know that stalks would also be made and as I intend to buy all the bezels etc from LeeBee it makes sense to buy from one source! Any clearer on when you expect them to be ready LeeBee?

Just mailed Leven about the stalks - would be nice to have something better than those flimsy black plastic things......

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we still have only 13 people who have "nailed their colours to the mast".....THIS IS NOT ENOUGH. If you ever want the chance to have Leven aluminium stalks in your S act now and or Leven (number and email address given previously).

I spoke to Simon at Leven today and we need at least another 12 people to show serious interest. If we get the numbers then in about two months time we could have these things available to us. If we don't have any more interest then the result will be obvious.

If you've phoned/e-mailed Leven, then that makes 15... Only 9 more people needed

I emailed Leven a few days ago, just didn't get round to posting here to say that I had - so I guess that's one less person needed. 8 now?

Looks like we've blown it!!! I just spoke to Leven and to date a total of 19 interested parties. Not enough I'm afraid. They said that they would do the costings on making a limited run for those who expressed interest but speculated that the cost would frighten most of us away. I'm sure the costings will not be one of their priorities either....I'd certainly put it on a back burner if I were them.

What a shame!

They should just get a load done! I`m sure that more than 19 people would buy them once they had been made. I think its just a case of people would rather 'see' the product before they buy rather than just saying 'yeah I`ll buy it whatever it looks like'.

Still not enough though I fear..

Edited to add - Could LeeBee do that number I wonder? Had already been looking at doing it IIRC..

Yes the way things are at the moment means I can get any number of parts made (even one offs).

I am still working on this and already have an alloy blank formed for the indicator stalk although at the moment my main priority is getting the clock surrounds made

Here is the prototype I am working on, this is just the blank for the light switch, it has yet to have the radius machined on the edges and end, I hope to have the other arms machined in the next couple of weeks (currently designing the switch mechanism for the wiper wash and horn)

LeeBee - interesting mate.

I've looked at a few S's and found that some have a metal rod that pushes the horn, whilst the other side is a switch... any thoughts on how to get round this?

Yes this is a bit of a problem as my alloy stalks are machined out of a billet of aluminium and cannot have a hole to accomodate the rod without a lot of hassle, I think I have found a solution though so when I have the other 2 stalks ready I will let you know

Here is another view
