Main thing is you are ok..... doesn't look too horendous as long as the chasis is ok.........whole new bonnets are only about £700 and I am sure the back can be sorted..........think positively........ if back and front need repairing then sounds like a complete respray... when it is done......... it will look good..

chassis looks fine to me just 180'd into a couple posts was only doing about 15-20 mph most of the impact was on the rear ,
looks to me like it's had some rear end repair work already as there seems to be loads of filler underneath

Sorry to hear about your little incident, just glad you are OK. You'll have to wait until next month now to see the blower.

Tough luck Spivvy!
I'm gutted for you. Surely you'll be able to get that repaired B4 June/Le Mans?

She looked soooo shiny on January's page (Shinynuts)too! Look on the positive side - as someone posted, it looks like a complete respray.

Bad luck Alan.
But at least you're ok. S series are tough old boots and the damage is only cosmetic (body). I've seen worse!

Sounds like it could have been diesel (been there, done that).

I'm glad you weren't hurt and the car has stood up well to the posts it hit. I bet you were a bit shocked it spun at that speed, are your tyres all OK?

It might be worth checking the tread depths before the insurance man calls if you know what I mean

I hope you get back on the road soon.

Damn that's annoying. Good that you're unharmed though. At least if the chassis isn't bent, it shouldn't be so bad getting it back on the road.

Best Wishes and Good Luck,

Having just had some damage I konow how you feel, but at least you're ok. Soon the car will be back, so don't worry about it. And as said above at least it will be a total respray. Accidents like these are what you pay insurance for.

Dennis told me about your spin on Sunday. Hopefully you may be able to get it fixed by Le Mans. You don't want the car off the road for the summer.

Sorry to hear your news.

The rear end damage looks like it should be repairable, either by grafting in a new rear quarter, or by rebuilding the existing bodywork, and a new bonnet should fix the front end - could be an opportunity to go for an S3C bonnet with the driving lights, if you fancy it.

Hope you get it all sorted ASAP!
