Hi all,

Despite one venue that closed before Xmas, heavy snow for a couple of days, then a pub that said they would be open for lunch today but when we turned up they weren't..... I think today was a success!!

It was great to see so many cars with 6 or 7 from South Yorks and 1 all of the way from Manchester.

And also thanks to Dale for arranging the photo shoot in Loddington.

Although this started on the S forum we ended up with;
6 S's
3 Chimaeras
2 Tamoras
1 Griffith
3 Tuscans
1 Ultima
1 Aston Martin
1 Hillman (sorry, not too sure what but it looked nice!)
1 Sunbeam

Given that kind of response at this time of year I'll definately get something else together for summer time. I've already got a venue in mind so will post the details in due course.... and, yes, I'll double check to make sure that they are expecting us!!

Fantastic! Many thanks Ian, we all really enjoyed today. Also, thanks to Dale for 'borrowing' that magnificent house and to everyone that came and made it such a good day out. Hope to see you all again! Dave

Cheers Ian. Great day out, and the bits that mattered were organised!

Tom Tom found us the M1 ok, so no drama getting home.

Some great pictures there. I particuly like the B&W in the pub car park.

Thanks for a great day out Ian. Really well organised. Mrs NTEL and I will be there again if and when you arrange another day out. Photos are great, especially the B&W one of the Ultima and TU55 TWO. Got back to Glossop OK despite a dick head in Golf GTI pratting about on the Woodhead Pass.

Well Done.

What a great start to the year!
Thanks for all trouble you went to Ian, despite the last minute changes you had to sort it went smoothly, and also thanks to Dale for the mansion.
All in all a great day which got the turnout it deserved.
And now we have pics - thanks again

Great meet thanks for organising this and to Dale for organising the 'photo shoot' at the mansion.
Good run down from SY in convoy, we all turned quite a few heads in town.

I also went home without the roof but it did only take about 10 mins from Loddington!

And don't worry, I've already contacted a local destination and received a tentative favourable response for a Summer run.....
