Just fitted new targa seels to the roof. went to check the fit of the windows to the seal, so moved windows up down up and then Zip . Passenger window still working, Drivers window now not working,
Any ideas. looked at the bible but can't see which fuse it could be.

Help.

Not sure about the S2, but on the S3 there's only a single fuse for both windows IIRC.

The first thing to try would probably be to swap the switches over to check that that's not the problem...

Ady this has happened once before, whilst trying the window switch give the door panel a bang it should work!

my passenger motor stopped working earlier this week - I took the door trim off, waggled the electrical connectors to the motor, and it all came back to life again.

Worth a try - only takes a few minutes.

Been there done that...

Giving the door a good bang does help..

But you might want to get to the root of the problem, giving it a bang doesn't always work.

It will most probably be the wire routing through the inner door over the hinge behind the dash. I had problems with my D/side, failed when coming out of a multistorey, put the exit ticket in left with the window stuck down, lucky it didn't happen on the way in.

Its a case of chasing the wires and the earth with a multimeter / continuity tester to find the wire break or short.

The connectors to the motor are also something worth checking.
