2.9 engine colour

Does anyone know the original colour of the Ford 2.9 block and heads? It's a sort of green-grey colour...

No idea of "name" or RAL code but not much green, more of a light grey?

Yep, looks grey in that block, mine seems to be a bit greener... Could be the lighting, it's different in suffolk...!

Re-painted mine a slightly darker grey Rust Oleum 7006

the grey to the left right (can't make out number) looks more like "original"

I was wondering whether to get a litre of celulose colour matched to this
or just use grey primer and some lacquer to seal it for less expense.
