Well gents...and if there are any ladies out there smile I have found a problem with my TVR...seats!

So the story is like this...no issues with back or neck and then I get the TVR. I drive her everyday and noticed my back and neck hurting after a bit. I took two week business trip and my back and neck started to feel better. I sit down in the car again and notice how the lumbar support is pushing on me back and the head rest is pushing my head forward...the problem...the stock seats. I have had a few sports cars in the past and never an issue with long drives or driving everyday. So, I have been looking and other TVR seats are a bit out of my price range. So, I came across a set of Gen 7 Celica seats. Not too expensive, sat in them before on drives and well...what does everyone think?

They look good. What subframes do you use or are they a similar flatish floor fitting?
They old favourite . Much discussed on here are the Mk1 MX 5 seats like I have fitted on recommendation from several others on here.
I have seen the MX5 seats before...and the cost was the main factor, but maybe my searching terms were not correct as I am seeing some good seats for about the same cost...also, sweet looking too!

As for the celica seats, I don't know just seeing what's out there smile

These were £80 the pair including subframes and bolt covers. Good old fleabay.
Just have to keep an eye out...the good ones on there are busted on the sides...but I have been checking the seats out for quite a bit...just another item to add to the list smile

Jag XJS work for me. Leather colours match TVR. And prices OK with a bit of searching. Mine were less than £100 for the pair
Honestly, I have been looking at these smile

I always found the S seats to be some of the most comfortable.

If they are not comfortable for you then the most important thing will be to find a seat that is comfortable for you. Since the std seats are fine but as everyone is different you need another seat which is fine for you, and not necessarily for anyone else.
Well put...in the end I will be the person driving...but I do agree with the classic look over the modern...but I also like where I am at to be the best...and the looking continues
