por15 paint preparation.

Am just about to order some POR15 paint from Frost but am slightly confused. The Frost catalogue mentions that it reacts better with rust however I have seen a thread where somebody used a rust converter prior to POR15. Can anybody advise from experience whether the rust converter route is either necessary or better. Thanks.

Thanks for that amyzoe. Thats the way I was going to go as well until the mention of rust convertors. Which colour have you gone for as I am thinking of silver for its filler qualities (according to the por15 site)followed by a top coat of a relevant colour?
