Front Indicator Lenses new supply available

I have been researching in the background for some time to see if I could get some made up but put the project on hold when GrahamS2 identified a supply. I have been trying to get hold of Graham for some time to see what the situation is but without sucess so I have restarted my search.

And have been sucessful!!!!!!

I can supply new lenses, exact copies of the original, but not including the black backs. I will need to order in batches of 24 but can supply in the original amber, or clear, or smoked but per batch.

Cost wise they will be quite expensive at £60 each per lens (P&P included) and I will need a deposit up front of £30 (due to my cashflow and bearing in mind I might be spending loads on getting Bob's old S2 back on the road)

So its up to you to let me know if you are interested

I have been back to the potential supplier and did some bargaining with the result that, if we allow him to do them at a quite time in his normal business activity, we can get the price down to £52.25. Thats a price cut of 13%, the big problem on the price is the dreaded VAT.

If that is more palatable then let me know, we might just have to wait some three or so weeks for delivery

Yes they are but the current level of (dis)interest is such thats its unlikely to go any where as the pricing depends on a run of 24 lenses for the figures to work - but watch this space and lets see if sufficient interest is developed

Well I have been casting around to see if I can reduce the price and have suceeded having found a more local supplier.

If I have batch of 25 made £50 per lens but thid drops to £40 if I can get sufficient interest and can order 50.

So are there any extra takers

There is some good news, the lenses can be bought for £35 each and either in amber, clear or smoked. But there does need to be a bigger take up on the lenses.

I will be going ahead at the present level of £40 shortly for those already committed (and I will be asking for colour preference first) but it obviously be much better if more sign up and I can get the price down to £35.

So sign up as soon as possible
