myself and tjc46 hairdresser tom will be travelling down m6 m1 m25 to dover to get the 2pm ferry
any one want to make a convoy
don t know set of times yet speak at chatsworth or email

I live very near the M1/M25 junction so if you want to stop off at my place to empty your bladders let me know. Otherwise I'll join the convoy somewhere near M1/M25 junction.

I'm going to be setting off from my brothers near Bedford and was going to head down the A1, but can just as easily head to the M1, so let me know what time you're likely to be heading past J14 I think it is, and I'll meet up with you.

Hopefully see you at chatsworth to discuss unless it's persisting it down, in which case I won't.

If you are planning fuel stops for the run down the M1 there is a Shell garage just off J7. On the same site is a Holiday Inn (toilets & refershments if required). If you want to go for this let me know and I'll meet you there

Has any decided on the meet up points for the convoy yet?

If the suggestion above isn't convenient, how about the South Mimms service station on the M25. Its junction 23 on the M25 and is where the motorway meets the A1 so the convoy could pick up anyone heading south on the A1M.

6am? You're all on the 2pm ferry same as me aren't you? It's 3hrs from Blackpool to my place (ie the M25) so you'll be getting on the M25 at a really busy time. It's another 2 - 21/2 hours from my place to Dover so do you want to stop off at my place for a break and grab some tea and biscuits and avoid the M25 rush before setting off again?
