Nick has somehow misplaced one of his seatbelt stalks (the bit the belt plugs into). Does anyone know what they're off?

Thanks,

Tony

Definatley NOT Peugeot 306, as a recent trawl through my local breakers yard proved, the 306's have pre tensioners fitted to the stalks wich are then atatched to to the seat base. I wanted shorter ones, in the end the stalks from a "Daewoo Nubira" yikes fitted ok although the mounting hole is a bit too big really, that will be rectified when I make a spacer for the hole, other than that they fit perfectly well.

I think you need older donors Tony...
You could be right, maybe I,m thinking about complete
Replacement. Logic would point to Fiesta four door fronts I suppose ?

I looked at an M reg 306 and it wasn't suitable, not sure you can get one much older than that. I did look at Fiesta's as well but they also seem to have the pre tensioners fitted.

Thanks for the replies. So it isn't a ford part?! Intriguing. Will the seat belt ends fit into the socket on the 307 stalks? It's a small part but a big worry as it could mean replacing the entire seat belt system.

In 2006 i managed to get a pair of shorter stalks to fit the original seat bels to stop the clasp digging into my waist. The company is called 'Quickfit safety belt services' smile
