Happy to go for another venue but I think we should decide upon it quickly and possibly not advertise the meet until it's finalised?

Cock O'the North sounds good - big car park (judging by Google maps), right on the main road and McMullen's are good as affordable chain pubs go. Never been there though - maybe someone needs to recce it at 2:30 this Sunday afternoon to see if there's addequate space etc?

(I'm away this weekend, but can't immagine it'll be too much of a hardship for someone to head down Kentish Lane to investigate!)

Let's say we'll provisionally go for the new venue. Might be worth casting an eye over it at 2pm this Sunday. Time wise, shall we say 2 for 2:30 again? Should be light until, what, at least 8pm, so gives us a little time to go for a drive after. Closer to the right area too - now I'm bouncing along in the Caterham I fully understand people's objections to Coopers Lane Road!

Hello chaps - I'm up for the next meet (gutted I missed the last one). I notice there may be a change of venue; one to consider for future reference is: Mops & Brooms - Rowley La, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 5PD. Coming in from Elstree way, it's a great drive... and there's a massive car park.

Lovely looking pub too.
