Just finished 'stitching' this nice group pic...

Edited to say that's the biggest size (width) photo bucket will let me upload

That's a fab pic. I don't mean to demean or belittle anyone else, but the Lotuses really do stand out! The gleaming white Exige, the Blue and White Sport 160, the Green and Yellow type 25, and the Ardent Red 111R.

I think that's the first time my Exige (in fact, any of my cars) has been described as 'gleaming'

Only just though. Based on the above picture, I count 4 loti and 3 TVR's so it's a close call.

I don't count the VX as a lotus

Just like to say thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome. I was a bit worried about keeping up but had a great time. Best bit being behind Zebra's Lotus on the run over to Egton. Got some photos before the camera packed up, will post them later.

would have been 5 - 3 but an exteamly close call with the road brought that to an end.

Sump is now off and awaiting the welder.

Also to add a REAL sports car car sound track for the video,

lights the blue and white, red, white, green and yellow touch paper and leaves quickly.

Reviewed the footage with Crowley last night; I'm sure he will not mind me mentioning the fact that his mid air elan stunt looks spectacular - you can count the seconds he's in the air.

laugh yes... sat in the car park playing out SOS on the immobilizer fob trying to get it going was fun, while listening to the sound of your engines disappear in the distance.
lifts bonnet, yep engine's still there, you can't be to careful after toon hoon 1.

The couple in the merc came across and had a chat while I was trying to get it going, asking was it a car club ?
no just a bunch of nutters who I've meet on the Internet, laugh

The low down on it not starting appears to be a common fault, when the engine gets hot it stops part of the ignition system working, strange it never went wrong all summer and I can't get it to go wrong again, but the parts are £20 to put it right, so am going to fit them just to be on the safe side.

Pity I couldn't make it toosmash That would have balanced the numbers out a bit. Sounds like the roads and driving was fun. Nice shot of the scraped sump. A close call, on what cold be an expensive 'tarmac shave'. Must have looked cool though hehe

Bomb, I was the car behind and after Crowley disappeared over the brow of the hill all I saw was smoke _ mrs zebra and myself believed that his little elan was going to be through the hedge.

Not so much of a tarmac shave on the video either, more of a furrow ploughed down the road for a metre or a so.

No excuses on toon hoon III mate, you need to turn up (and I'll take my beating from mrs bomb to get it over with).
