Pity I couldn't make it toosmash That would have balanced the numbers out a bit. Sounds like the roads and driving was fun. Nice shot of the scraped sump. A close call, on what could be an expensive 'tarmac shave'. Must have looked cool though hehe

Bomb, I was the car behind and after Crowley disappeared over the brow of the hill all I saw was smoke _ mrs zebra and myself believed that his little elan was going to be through the hedge.

Not so much of a tarmac shave on the video either, more of a furrow ploughed down the road for a metre or a so.

No excuses on toon hoon III mate, you need to turn up (and I'll take my beating from mrs bomb to get it over with).

Yep.....

My time at work is simply keeping me from getting out and about.

Would love to come and join in some more, but just impossible.

Your 'beating / crucifiction' will be postponed until the next time Mrs Bomb can attend. Her time spent at the Wrestling Gym and weightlifting club obviously keeps her busy too.....

Looking forward to meeting the new faces and I should come to bolster the TVR numbers. You Loti beggers are taking the show over !! ( Can't have that).

laugh yes... sat in the car park playing out SOS on the immobilizer fob trying to get it going was fun, while listening to the sound of your engines disappear in the distance.
lifts bonnet, yep engine's still there, you can't be to careful after toon hoon 1.

The couple in the merc came across and had a chat while I was trying to get it going, asking was it a car club ?
no just a bunch of nutters who I've meet on the Internet, laugh

The low down on it not starting appears to be a common fault, when the engine gets hot it stops part of the ignition system working, strange it never went wrong all summer and I can't get it to go wrong again, but the parts are £20 to put it right, so am going to fit them just to be on the safe side.

Phil

Same happened to mine - Is it the water sensor ?? I spent a few times sat next to petrol pumps for 30 mins reading the paper. Sad news about TVR today

the problem is that a part of the wiring gets too hot, and this reduces the voltage getting to the starter solenoid, so no start till it cools down.

what the kit does is take a direct supply from the battery to the starter and uses the original wire to operate a relay. From what I have read it takes about 1Hr to fit.

I also read that the problem can be with the connections to the starter solenoid, may be an idea to give them a clean first, (It's a good idea to disconnect the battery before working on any of the wiring )

Crowley _ how long do you think it will take us to edit down the footage for TH I and TH II?

However long the footage is, is how long it will take to capture onto computer. There's something like 1 1/2 hours so... + deciding what to include + 1 - 2 hours for rendering and writing. I'm capturing now, so that should save some time.

give me a bell to sort out when...

Continue with this attitude young man and I'll deliberately post the TH II footage first. Now go to your room and I don't want to talk about this again otherwise you're grounded my boy.punch

Dutch parents don't know how to bring up disciplined children any longer?confused

And your dad hasn't even had the courtesy to comment on TH II yet?nerd

Not been called that for a long time m8

Seriously Charles, what software are you using to edit the vid footage?
Will it convert .vob files?

I've got Magix movie edit pro 10 & it's losing the audio track when I edit or convert format

Crowley uses Pinnacle - fantastic piece of software, yet very user friendly; I'll be investing in it for home.

Unfortunately I cannot suggest any reason why you're having problems with the audio track on Magix (would it have helped if the instructions were in Dutch?)
