I'm not asking you all out, but I am just wondering, what do you do for lunch when at work or home? Do you go out? How much does it normally cost you.

Reason I ask is that this week I've been cycling in to work and also taking my own lunch in, in the form of 2 tubs of pasta and 4 sandwhiches.

I've probably saved about £15 this week by doing just that.

Oh and do any of you have any suggestions for pasta that might be nice cold? That I can make at home and then eat at work at lunch time.

I can take any amount of time I want for lunch, but I get stuck in traffic at lunch time. (I'm on flexi)

I've driven to Seaton Delaval for an Ice Cream before, Delaval Ices, really nice Ice Cream!

I'd drive to The Coffee Cottage on Chillingham Road, really nice home made food and I know the woman who owns it, as I used to sell cars opposite the Coffee Cottage.

What's lunch? I have a real job

I have to say, when I had a job I loved I worked pretty much all the hours I could. I took half hour for lunch, I could have taken an hour, but I wanted to get over my sales targets.

I used to do Door to Door sales and we'd have about 40 mins break at about 4:30 pm as we'd be on our feet from 10 am and wouldnt get home till half 11 some times.

It really does depend on what job you do I think, if you like your job then you'll work through and work hard at it. If like mine you don't like it then you'll just wish lunch time was upon you.
