Dark Blue full size Toyota Landcruiser on the A38 Northbound between Little Eaton and Ripley. Not quite what you'd expect for an unmarked car.
It pulled me this afternoon, I was doing BIG speed, and to my relief and amazement he told me "I'm not going to give you a ticket, just tone it down a bit".

I spotted an unmarked Vectra nick someone just past J27 southbound the other week, I think it was a 58 plate, and it was dark blue.

Nottingham - seen on the A60 (mansfield road) near Sherwood and tonight on the ring road - dark grey Volvo V70 D5 - FJ60 AFA.
I have seen this car pull 2 people over on the A60 leaving woodthorpe/entering Sherwood so be careful.
I was going along the A614 and noticed him behind me so stuck my cruise on at 60...next thing I know a Civic Type R flies past at what must have been 90+...Volvo overtakes me and follows - I assume he will pull him over. He didn't.I have seen this car pull 2 people over on the A60 leaving woodthorpe/entering Sherwood so be careful.
I wasn't happy as the cop overtook me in a relatively stupid place and why bother if he had no intention of stopping the speeder?

dont they have to follow them for a certain distance with a calibrated video camera?
If the Civic clocked plod and got away, they might be relying on video evidence to catch up with him at a later date.

When the Civic driver noticed he was behind he pulled over into a lay by...the police just drove on by. Probably finished their shift. If the Civic clocked plod and got away, they might be relying on video evidence to catch up with him at a later date.
