Need to get the barge MOT'ed and at the very least it's going to need the exhaust patching to get through. I've got a good garage near home but it's not exactly convenient for work. Anyone got any recommedations for places in/near Nottingham city centre?

David Drew, just off Lady Bay Bridge, Tel. 9814040.

He has been doing my cars for years and he is very reasonable. My MOTs are always very painless. He won't look to fix anything that doesn't need fixing. Tell him I recommended him to you

I've only been to Nottingham 3 times, once to concert, and twice to see Ian Smith at Toyauto Centre.

If its a Toyota you have, then definatley him, but he does great work on all types of cars

where in nottingham are you pete?

not seen the car around.
as for MOT not sure, but for the welding there is a indi exhaust place on haywood road on mapperly top, that weld up the tuscan can when it fell off (common fault), after all the other places wouldn't and wanted to order a new system!!

have used them a couple of times for random welding bits and are reasonable as long as you dont turn up in something expensive, sure you'll be fine in the merc

Had the barge up on the ramps at our local tyre and exhaust place yesterday and it needs a whole new system - been using these guys for a while and I trust them It's well beyond patching now - had a good look myself while it was up in the air and it's pretty rotten. I've ordered a full new exhaust at £175 - more that I wanted to be spending but less than it could have been.
