Any mid Warwickshire PHers out there interested in organising/attending meets or road runs?

Seems most midland activity is nottingham way

Keep them coming! There's plenty of good roads in the area. We'll have to watch the though as there's a depot just south of Leamington with some very fast unmarked machinery...

What do you reckon Dawn Run, Sunday Afternoon Jaunt or wrap up warm for an evening meet?

How about a run up to Rutland for sunday lunch? See 'I'm now running a pub in Rutland' www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=215297&f=113&h=0 thread.

I've checked and all PH'ers are welcome. This sunday 13th Nov any takers?

It's starting to look good now - and a good range of cars. Keep the posts coming and we will have some well supported meets and road runs soon.

I'm just sourcing a new steering rack at the moment - before I do anything exciting.

There are a few good cheap trackdays available out of season as well. A wet trackday is not so hard on your engine and tyres also personally I love it in the rain

Wythall and Hockley Heath are ideal. I'm working this sunday though.

We will definitely have a few dates, destinations and drivers from the area for the new year - I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

Might be a good monthly meeting point for Warickshire/Midlands PHers.

If we came up with a list of different events throughout the month e.g.

Wythall

Hockley Heath

Dawn Raid/Breakfast Run

Sunday Lunch/Run Out

Summer Evening Meet

everyone would have a choice of times and days then each could just post where they are going.

Any more venue/event suggestions?

Where's that then???

Near Staines but by all accounts it's THE inpromptu car gathering. Look at the PH Calendar or Virginia Waters thread in General Gassing.

Hi all,
Whats the SP for the sunday meet I'm just south of Banbury and would'nt mind a run out on Sun in the Yellow One.
Gsw500.

It depends which route you want to take, I live near Southam on the A423 halfway between Banbury & Coventry and would probably take some good B roads via Warwick/Hockley Heath/Earlswood/Wythall

Why not nip along to the car meet held at the Brittanic Assurance "campus" at Wythall ( just off junction 3 of the M42 A435)in the second week of every month...October to April on Sunday 11.00am to 1.00pm, and May to September on Tuesdays from 7.00 pm.

The December meet is therefore this Sunday........everything from steam cars to new Astons plus motorbikes......

Cheers,

Tony

Hmm, might trot along to this. Is the 'campus' easy to find? I'll be in a black Mk1 MX5 if anyone else is there.

This is about as much as I know. Feb meets usually bring out a good few cars as folk are bored of the grey days. This is especially true if Virginia water was anything to go by last week.

Email me your mobile no through my profile and we will try and hook up on the way. My plan is to set off around 10am and weave over via a few B roads and see what's there.
