Every time I go on a run, any "potential challengers" seem to back out of the event. If I was a betting man i'd wager they are scared laughlaughlaughlaughlaughlaugh

No callenger here, the weather is calling the little Mazda, with it's bald front tires, out to play.

On my way.

Get a route through some fields and I'll give it a go!

Thanks very much to all who came along today. Route out to Slapton worked well, although a bit wet for some, traffic got a bit congested on the route back. Maybe next time with that many cars, we'll have to head up the Exeter - Chard - Ilminster way for faster roads.

Paul - Sorry you couldnt stay around at the end for a chat
John - Told you the Z4 would of worked !
Panda100hp - I didnt get to talk to you but good to see you on one of your first runs.
Thanks to the kit car guys for coming along.

Next months meeting will be a Wednesday evening with a run out and a pub snack. All suggestions welcome

Thanks again
Giles

cheers giles, shame about the amount of "other cars" having the audacity to clog up the roads when we are out.
got the little westy back, it has done a big end shell, so engine is now out and will get stripped during the week .
good to see you all, look forward to the next one.

Good to catch up with you all today. Shame about the weather and seems we got split after the mid point stop, but the sun did come out eventually. Enjoyed your company Pete, see some of you next weekend. Have a good week all smile

Really disappointed I didn't get to make it but a woke up at 10am feeling really sick. Wasn't well all day yesterday. The next one being a weekday is hard as I work nights but may book a day off for it .

Thanks for sorting that run Giles. It was good to meet you and the others. Been lurking for ages but only just got the guts up to say hello and go on a run. Great route as well. Not been down that way for ages. It was a good job that last section was busy or I would have been way back and got lost.

Sorry I didn’t go back to the cafe at the end but I had a BBQ to get back to. I will next time and try to say hello to a few more people as well.

Cheers
Jimmy

A bit unnerving seeing your car behind, (aka plain plod car) goes well.

thumbup off the smilies section ( : thumbup : ) works better for Iphones as on mine its comes up as a big blob.

It was nice seeing you chaps. Sorry I didn't stay longer but I spent the rest of the day sorting out the steering on the 944 and giving it a much needed clean up ready for Pentillie next week.

Now it's so clean I'm too scared to drive it which is ideal as I can't afford to fuel it right now!

I'll participate more next time when it's not such a long drive to the meeting place.

As it appears some of you guys werent aware. One of the kit cars broke down after the half way stop, thats why we got split up a bit. I and two others waited with him till it was able to limp home, looks lke big end issue so probably terminal.

All is well, but thats why we all got a bit disjointed on the way back

I'll try and sort the evening meet for September with at least a couple weeks notice. Probably a 6.30 start in order to get to a pub for 8pm
