Whats everyone up to this weekend?
Discussion
There are races on Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday race is meant to be 3pm and Sunday 12.20, but I don't know how reliable that is... Because of the size of the grid the slowest qualifiers (that'll be me then) do an excess race (aka the gay race) to decide who gets to enter the main race and to ensure that those who don't still actually get a race rather than just qualifying (IYSWIM). So I should be in 4 races. Assuming I don't crash in qualifying

What time is the muppet/kindergarten/qualifying race on saturday? Good planning should allow arrival before then and leaving just after the 3pm race.
No idea. I don't have your number but I'll give Neil or Glen a shout if I find out in time.

I think the praying might be too late....
It looks like qualifying will still be happening at 12, so the gay race must be after that... If I find out for sure before 10 I'll give someone a call so they can post it up.
(And I manged to reverse the trailer straight into the garage, so hopefully I won't balls it up when I have an audience...)

Right then, so Mech"racingdriver"sympathy, will be kicking off his career at midday.
Ewen, suggest meeting at the Aust Services by the original severn crossing for 8.00am.
The satnav prog says the route should take about 3 hours.... allowing us to get there just after 11am.
DAZ
(BTW, you're welcome to the passenger seat if you wanted to save the fuel costs etc)

OK, I'll meet you there, 8am Saturday. I'll bring the Caterham along, windscreen or aeroscreen dependant on the weather. Also gives us more flexibility if one or other wants to depart early. No SatNav so I'll be chasing you.

Right then, all the gubbins is through. On Saturday the gay race is 3.15 with the main race at 5.45, and on Sunday at 12.20 and 3.45. There's a chance they'll be runnning ahead of time though.
I also have 2 spare tickets if anyone is interested...

3.15 kick off on saturday. I think an 8am start may be a bit unecessary, what do you think Ewen?
Bill what time are you getting to the track on saturday?
