Thanks to the driver of the sporty blue punto with the white smiley who let me into the lane in front of him earlier today at the bottom of Winterstoke road.
I did comment through the open windows on your smiley, but was not sure if you heard me properly over the traffic noise.
'Twas me! Sorry, was miles away until you beeped! I thought I heard something but I thought it was the radio switching to traffic, the noise from your 911 was incredible! Was nice to admire some proper styling, rather than the normal bm's and Peugeots! Haha! Thanks, you are the second person today to comment on the sound. Makes the cost of the exhausts worthwhile. TDIfurby said:

Was at Castle Combe today for the MRG track day. Spotted a gold V70R with a PH smiley in the top left corner of the rear window, and a Briskoda Fabia VRS with one in the same place.
The Fabia is mine, only its not a VRS - Just a "mere" 100bhp 1.9 TDI. ![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
I really enjoyed the trackday - Just a couple of cars which didn't put the briefing advice in to practice on the day - I got brake checked in odd places on the straights by the green "aero'd" Subaru WRX - Not the sort of driving I was expecting and should have let me past if wanted to just warm the tyres and brakes up first.

Indeed, I wasn't driving but the track manners seemed to be good throughout the day. Only one notable hold up I saw as passenger was where (I think) a car was on a cool down lap and hadn't indicated over. IIRC he ended up with Tim Williams' turbo nutter racing slick tyred Volvo V70R, the supercharged Lotus go-kart, and the track prepped M3 (which I was in at the time) stuck behind him. Made for quite the overtake when he realised!

No PH sticker but I thought I might stick it in here just in case.
Guy a couple of doors down who's moved in fairly recently, drives a 182 Trophy in black with a Stig sticker on the rear windscreen. Sadly one exhaust down at the moment but sounds rather awesome, possibly because of it. You on here? I'd ask in person but I've not managed to catch you for a chat since the weekend before last.

Probably the same one you saw, first I've seen on the road.
Gentlemen, may I present what I consider the spot of a lifetime!
(As witnessed by Posh Twit)
THE Batmobile! The original one from the TV series.
On a trailer on the slip road at J15, M4 at lunchtime today. The guy had stopped to check the straps on the trailer so we stopped.
Well who wouldn't stop if they thought the Batmobile was in trouble?
He was on his way to Cornwall to take a girl to her Prom night! How cool is that.
I also checked the registration and it shows it is registered as a Lincoln Batmobile, it couldn't gent any better unless Samuel L Jackson & Morgan Freeman were in it as well.
(Photos when I can figure out how to load them from my IPhone)
