Rally For Heroes at Weston-Super-Mare - 6th May 2012

Hi all,
Just to let you all know that there is going to be a R4H convoy from The Royal British Legions Dunkirk Memorial House in Taunton up to the Sea Front in Weston Super-Mare on Sunday 6th May. We will be escorted by the RBL Riders and will be treated to the Rock n'Riders music concert on the evening of the 6th.
We are currently expecting around 30 cars to convoy and the RBL Riders (anywhere up to 500 bikers) this is to draw attention to both the RBL and H4H.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED????
The mayor of Weston Super Mare has kindly donated the lawns for us to use, and as such would like to invite Pistonheads, and their cars to join us on the lawns.
The only cost for this will be 5 pounds that is payable on the day. The same as it costs to park at WSM on a Bank holiday! Hopefully we will see some more fantastic cars present as there are several Car Clubs that have been invited to this event.
As and when I get more information I will let you know on here but if you do have questions please fire them at me. There are a couple of people from this forum that are already attending but would love to see you all!!

The Royal British legion are planning to have other attractions, as well as the beach & pier of WSM, there will be more stuff to be announced!
Another bonus is that they will be asking for a Donation, upon arrival, to the Rally for Heroes fund, of only 5 pounds per car, which is the same as parking at WSM would cost anyway!...
Cars will be parked in groups they arrive with, otherwise they will be directed to the nearest space. It makes the car park more of an interesting spectacle if the cars are mixed up. This is standard policy at Goodwood Breakfast Clubs, for example.

I presume we register our interest on here rather than the site? Looks good and its not far for me to go home from the beach lawns as I live in Sunny Weston!!
