Roll up folks this is the one you have been waiting for!

This is a grockle-free, beardie-free run around some the Devon and Cornwall finest footpaths as sun arises.

We will meet at Route 38 at 06.30 a.m. on sunday 21st May (only a month away from the longest day of the year!) before setting off on a little jaunt at 07.00 a.m.

The route which will not be available to anyone prior to the day will end up on a cliff top by about 09.00 a.m., whereas bacon baps will be provided as a trophy of your exploits!

This is of course free of charge and we can absolutely gaurantee no cream teas along the way.....

This run matters.

Route 38 is here....

I gathered that JT but thanks.

I met this character at Pistonfest this week end.Once again he was knocking the region.I also remember him at Le Mans 2 years ago dropping his pants at the procession I have the photographs oh also nearly knocking us over in the fairground while drunk driving his Chimaera. A commitee member.Which direction is The Tvr Car Club taking us to?

A stand by Wyatt one of the best Ambassadors the club has got and he does not deserve this sort of nonsence on his patch.I have sent him a personel e mail with my suport.

Whats this Splinter Group sticker thing this character has in his car?

I read this post with great interest and a rye smile too boot!

I find it genuinely amusing that people make up information to try and paint the wrong picture!

Firstly, I''m afraid you did not meet me this weekend, nor were Devon & Cornwall mentioned by me at Pistonfest all weekend, these are complete lies as I did not stay at Pistonfest this year!!!! Yep I'm sorry but your great plans to make someone look bad have just fallen to bits!!! I along with about 12 other PHer's stayed in a group of cottages 4 miles from the circuit and only went to the party last night!!

So then next one, not once did I drive my car though the fairground I'll think you'll find that it was a member of Beermountain.com with me asleep in the passenger seat, anyone that was there will recall the truth.

Next one, dropped my pants the Driver's Parade?? - Yeah, so?

Splinter Group sticker??? There are no Splinter Group stickers on my car??? To boot my car wasn't even at Pistonfest???

To sum this whole thread hijack up, you have completey told a pack of lies and it has come back to bite you on the arse!

As for my position within the TVRCC Commitee, until anyone else in the area is prepared to take the stand to be on the commitee, give up a lot of time and effort so that others may benefit, take a step back and redress your own situation.

This thread is purely because the local PH runs are well supported, without politics.

Any energy directed at my would be better off channelled into getting some events going in the area.

In future can subjects like this should be discussed on the TVRCC forum.

I read with interest your reply Corin.

First Gom.At The Cheddar meet last year you mentioned you did not want to be part of a boy racer group Dentons group.

Second Denton we did meet this week end you forget and dont you dare be rude to me as it will cost.

Third You were driving that Chimaera of yours around the fairground and nearly knocked over myself and my son.

Four You are on the TVR car club commitee Ive seen your remarks on The Somerset Forum act like a commitee member.

Five Support Your Club that we are members of.

Six Support your Ro who deserves some help.

Then if you do that The Devon and Cornwall Region of The Tvr Car Club will support YOU.

I fear you are merely an ill-informed propaganda paperboy of the core members of D&C, you DID NOT meet me, the only new pepole I met this weekend were 'Hard Drive' 'Flying Jase' 'Neil Cardiff' and 'TVRbob'

Next I was most certainly NOT driving my car in the fairground, I can swear on my mother's grave that this is the case, if you want to question that then YOU WILL have big problems.
You might have the incident confused with Just Trouble who had to have the keys taken off him at Le Mans by the Devon & Cornwall R.O. after he threatened the Castrol hospitality suite with a baseball bat!!!

Now that we have corrected your information onto the club....

I have opted to serve on behalf of the TVRCC commitee on my own free will, it is a great club and even though it is taking up quite a bit of time and logistics on my part I am enjoying the challenge.
I am obliged on a national basis to serve the club to the best of my ability and I intend to do this, I am however not obliged to support the Devon & Cornwall in their day to day running of the club.

I have and always will be PH first, TVRCC second. The SW PHers or 'the boy racer group' as the hardcore TVRCC would have it known is a politics free bunch of likeminded folk who just want to get out there and have some fun in their cars. Predominantly TVR but with a good sprinkling of everything from 600+bhp Porsches to Renault Spiders etc etc.

Yes I have two TVRs but I also drive a lot of other cars and have interest in anything mechaniacally propelled, the TVRCC couldn't meet my fix on it's own.

I personally really can't see the point in re-hashing over old news, I am quite happy to say I have slated D&C in the past but now to be honest I have no interest, life's too short.

The hijacked topic on this thread is simply going to around in circles with absolutely no positive outcome.

Much to your disbelief D&C I don't actually slate your region, anyone new that asks me I simply suggest that they go along to a meet and decide for themselves if it is for them or not, unlike yourselves who are happy to slate me and the PH meets - which is pretty ironinc really.

I think it's about time to call it a day for the following reasons...

I am never going to become friends with the Devon & Cornwall core members - that's a fact.

D&C core members are never going to want to associate with PHers - that's a fact.

So isn't it best that the two operate succesfully independently and let's draw a line under the situation??

Weather looks less than happy for Sunday am www.bbc.co.uk/weather/24hr.shtml?world=0013 are we going for it anyway?

This is a tough call, the met office review has taken a turn for the worse.

Problem being is that if the weather is not filling people with confidence today then it is not likely to get people up at daft-o-clock on a Sunday.

The lunch meet followed by the hillclimb is definate it's just the early riser in jeopody?????????

It's got to be a group decision.....

Well to say the weather was a touch damp would have been an understatement! At one stage I thought to myself this can't get any worse - and then we hit fog!!

A good morning all the same finished off by Graham's better half doing us a full english brekkie!

I'll save the maps for the next one when hopefully we'll do it dry!
