After the storming success of last year's fund raiser where over £1,400 pounds net was raised by PHer's in this region I was wondering who would be up for it again???

Based at Hayne's Motor Museum where they have their own private test track the plan would be pretty much the same as last year a track based event supported by local media, a BBQ, raffle and auction and miles of smiles.

It is a short circuit but it is no-holds barred, do as you wish scenario, if you have never done a track day it is the perfect taster.

Here are last year's PHer donation certificates from last year...

A real good crack, just for Charadeee!

Don't worry folks we are still on for this, I sm just waiting for Charlotte from Haynes to get back to me with a firm price. It seems the popularity of the hire days has bumped the price up considerably.

You will know as soon as I do!

It's not looking promising folks I'm afraid.

Last year the track was available Sunday's, and it cost only £250 for unlimited access which makes it a reasonably priced day.

For 2006, everything has changed, firstly you can no longer use the track on a Sunday due to lentilist noise regs and secondly the price has jumped from £250 per day to £400 per day for up to seven cars. It is then an additional £50 per car extra.

For such a small track it hardly seems vialble at the moment???

I might have a word with Mansell about Dunkeswell?
