Great morning at Goodwood, some lovely cars in both on display and in the car park. Favourites definitely include Aygo Crazy and Micra Z! Good to see a few people lurking about, if anybody wishes to post pictures I have started a thread for the Goodwood Breakfast Club mmeets http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Also, does everyone get told to keep it to 15MPH every 5 seconds, or is it just me?

I'll get some pictures up soon.
Was told 15mph just before I went through the tunnel...
So I dipped the clutch and blipped the throttle instead. For a boring car, mine has quite a nice induction noise biggrin

I'll get some pics up as well, annoyingly it looks like a lot are overexposed! frown
They looked fine on the camera annoyingly...
It's great having nice toys with too many buttons! wink

Here are my pictures - http://www.flickr.com/photos/rednut/sets/721576012...

They're of every Breaky Club I've attended though but just look at the first 20 of so.

Also, if you're on Flickr, post your pictures of the the Breakfast Club in this group - http://www.flickr.com/groups/goodwoodbreakfastclub...

May also find pictures of your car taken by it's members on there too.

Didn't see you there Luke? Saw an awful lot of black clio's but they all seemed to be missing their rear seats hehe Including the one that went past me on the M27 at about 1.3 leptons biggrin

Were there not enough cars to follow the theme yesterday? I thought the general theme was along the guidelines of 'Pocket Rockets' although when I walked in there were Ferraris, E Types and even a Thunderbird (more of a Barge than a pocket rocket)
Don't get me wrong, lovely to look at but nothing to do with the event????

Yes it was a touch annoying to say the least especially when I spotted a Chevette HS possibly R lurking in the public car park.

I saw you on the back of the tractor/trailer with your little lad, I think you were the only PHer I spotted!
I was parked (bizarrely!) in one of the car parks on the left as you come in the main circuit entrance...!

Well like I said, I was parked in one of the car parks that are normally reserved for theme cars (although I was parked between an E92 M3 and a Porshce 944 Cabro... confused) but my dad who came down in a RenaultSport Clio 182 was in the public car park...??
Normally the guys at the entrance are very good at spotting cars to direct in as well!

I think it looked like a Spectre R42 (might be wrong on the R42 bit) but with slightly different headlights and without any badging.

Me and my Dad turned up in the 2 Astra GTE 16vs, Hot hatches you would agree, so why did the idiot marshalls want us to park in the public car park?

We ignored them and drove to the paddock anyway.

Did you get your issues sorted? I assume it was you on the flyover on the A27?
That maroon Astra is a Ltd edition is it not?

Yes, its a Champion Edition, 1 of 250 built, The issue was the Altenator fan decided to eat the fuel line. The RAC man was called and it was fixed within the hour.

Was a good place to break down, we got to see loads of fast cars giving it some death along that stretch.

The Champion is Dads, mine is the white one.
