It will more then likely be the the Drusillas inn. They are more than happy to take us and have a large enough car park for us all and it concreted too which is good. Unless there are any real quibbles with it then to Drusillas we will go.

I will go down there Sunday afternoon and see how busy it gets and say hi face to face and try to get some pictures of the place and maybe see if we can get any deals on food and drink.


Additional notes.

How worried are people about going for a drive after? Because if there is a great interest over it I will plan out a route for us all.

Sounds good Damian. There are some good routes to get there is people want to - the road from Wimborne up to Horton is awesome, so is the B3081 which is only 15 minutes or so from Drusillas.

UPDATE

I went to see Drusilla's inn today and it seemed like quite a nice place. Large inside with separate pub and restaurant.

The car park is extremely large and mostly concreted.

The staff seem really friendly and couldn't do enough to help, even asking what food we might like. I said pies .

The only down side is the car park is badly pitted and there is a speed bump but the landlord re-assured me the holes would be filled by then and if need be they will make the bump more accessible for our lower cars. The bump itself is 3inches. If anyone thinks they might scrape, please state and I will inform them.

Now time for convoys.

For the Bournemouth and Poole lot I was thinking Sainsburys, Ringwood car park @ 11.15. We will go along the dual carriage way and then the back roads to get there. Should take about 10-15minutes and we will get there early to start the festivity's. So If I could see a show of hands.

As regards the speed bump I was almost going to suggest that any PH which doesn't scrape over a bump as tall as 3" should not be allowed admittance until it's been lowered properly! We have to keep standards up y'know...
