It's time for another monster meet at Virginia Waters - there's one brewing for the day after the longest day! Went on Nov 12th 2006 and the trip up was better than the show smile

(also see PH.tv back catalogue)

So how about a convoy along A and B roads from the south - maybe hedge end area, A32 etc again?
If you've got useful advice, please post up, and if you're definitely up for it please get your name down on the main meet post toowink

Convoy list
1. Zed - Viper
2.
3.
4.
5.

Yes please mate, although there's a few VW local Phers on the main event list who are checking it out too. It has been open in the last few months, but can't confirm if it might have closed again. I'll be passing by on saturdaywink

I'm in, not been to this before, where does the convoy set off from??
May have to be a few convoys and start points - coming from south dorset, the convoy started to build last time from Rownhams M27 services before the main meet spot off M27, J8, Hedge End, to head up the back roads via Alton. Guess if some are over Worthing etc way, another trip might evolve from there. Will personally look into a route from Bournemouth, running near Salisbury this time...unless the Sotoners put a good one together!

last hot day? . . so went on an exploration mission yesterday . . . just 150 miles biggrin
got as far as Basingstoke. found some crap roads, some odd dead end roads, e.g. to Litchfield, and some big wide open empty roads - A33 cloud9
possible route for the south dorsetters and sottoners??:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en&ge...
alternative start: A35 up through Lyndhurst? and A30 north of Basingstoke's all i know paperbag

glad i met y'all - good trip up and awesome return... thanks for bearing with me when i completely missed getting us on the A33 - pissed i messed that up - and for some of the last minute exits of the d.carriageways..! enjoyed seeing endless smiles at the wheels. sorry Luke you never made it - we did hang around at Sainsburys, Hedge End for a while, honest!.. and for almost losing Ironic . . did feel bit evil for keeping the chase on with the others on return - happy to see you pull back up with us on the M3 - did the monster stickers last?!
Neil you're mad (i'm still learning!)
Tom - good going with the Quattro (wake up call!) - glad you found another at the meet
James - cool, but get a mount for the shaken camera!..just going looking for the vids now
Chris - good company from the start!
Blue and white TVR bloke - who were you? + 350 bloke that crossed our A31 path home?!

forget the meet next time, just the drive'll do

quality was sucked out on uploading (it's a 1500bps vid...), but if you play it through a decent hi-fi, there's a few good sounds...and no, mine's not automatic! the final cut will be sent out as will be way too big for hosting anywhere..!
