Hampshire Ring No2
Discussion
Right then no messing about, lets get the next one sorted. Im thinking the 28th Sept which is again a Sunday. If anyone has any other ideas at this early stage then please say.
Im thinking much of the same as today. The sameish route with maybe a slight detour. The only difference maybe an earlier start (6 or 7am to avoid the horse boxes).
Thoughts???

Don`t know if you knew, that the West meon hut do a large breakfast for £4 IIRC up until 11am on a Sunday?
Might be worth considering as your pit stop on the way around, if you are leaving that early, give them a call with some numbers 24hrs before to avoid disappointment, done it a couple of times with the Freeview TVR drivers.
Thanks mate, will bear it in mind. We had a very good breakfast in Wickham on Sunday, but probably worth warning them next time i think. You not about that weekend yourself?Don`t know if you knew, that the West meon hut do a large breakfast for £4 IIRC up until 11am on a Sunday?

I'd love to. I missed the last one because... well, I'll be honest - I thought it was this weekend, not last. My bad. I'd had the car RR'd the day before as well so I was up for some of that :P
Add yourself to the list mate. Nice black Porsche you had on your linked website, or should i not mention that zed sump said:
Count me in... Could have a think about some other routes? Keep it nice and interesting, although it will be hard to beat those roads.
Ok been doing some thinking. After a quality drive back with Neil and Hobzy from Goodwood on Sunday, i have a plan for a route. Start in Wickham Square again. Up the A32 to the A272 crossroads and then go right towards to Petersfield [any of the Winchester guys could just meet there]. Then from Peterfield work our way through the Harting down route to Goodwood where we can stop at the airfield cafe for some food. Then back on the backroads through Funtington, Westbourne etc to Havant where we can go over Portsdown Hill back to Wickham.
"THOUGHTS"?!!
Right as a lot of people seem to be wet and have dropped out for one reason or another, here is the plan.
Who ever is left meet in the square at Wickham at 08.00hours. We will then take a scenic route to Goodwood utilising as many decent bits of road as possible. We will then visit the Aerodrome Cafe for a coffee or a sarnie. As far as i am aware there is not a lot on at the circuit, however if the weather is nice, its a cracking place to sit outside and enjoy a mug of columbia's finest. Then from there we can either go the scenic route back or cruise along the dual carriageway back towards Portsmouth. It means the guys from west sussex way can peel off after Goodwood.
Glad you all agree, if not you werent invited anyway or whatever!!
See you all Sunday x

Any idea roughly what time you will be back at Wickham? Might be able to sneak out to say hello as the other car is screwed - didn't make it to the stag do but the Mrs will kill me if I now go on the run as its her brother - but might be able to get out for an hour for a quick blat to Wickham and back
Im not to sure how many will make it back to Wickham mate, we are more than likely going to all be peeling off in different directions on the way back. Tell your mrs your going to church or something. We are going to take your route to Goodwood. you know you want to. Edited by Hobzy on Saturday 27th September 18:34
Ironio your stickers look far to well applied. Your getting to much practice
Well i made it to work. . . . ugh!!
Was an awesome meet this morning, great group of cars, people, nice roads, not to much traffic, no accidents (apart from my windscreen and Karls foglight), great weather. What more could we ask for.
Will post my video footage asap and photos.
See you all soon.

Weather will be getting worse from now on though.
What, worse than p*ssing down rain or freezing fog? Poofs BTW, when we got on the A3 I actually had no fking idea where we were until we peeled off because of that fog - completely lost my bearings; mind you, at least I made the junction Darren! If its not raining I'll be there - anyone light want to go shotgun???

Ironio - It is Autumn and time is running out. You gonna have it by the next run??? Px the 328, its a minter so probably wont need a lot to upgrade!!
Now for the longer video, sorry that the middle section is very bumpy, Jess struggled with stiff STI suspension. The sound of Hobzy's car at 3.07mins is awesome. Bring on the next meet.
