South Coast meet ---> Like the other thread.
Discussion
Having seen the other thread from a few years back I thought it may be time we have another mega meet. Like the ones at Virginia Water only a bit more local. My initial thoughts are to meet at Goodwood on a non event Sunday. Gives some the chance to arrange a convoy to the meet point. We may be able to get a convoy arranged from here to a second meeting place? Any suggestions? Thruxton perhaps?
How about Sunday 3rd Jan. This gives us a bit of time to get everyone together and it's nice to blow a few cob-webs out after the festive season.
All just ideas at the moment. Feel free to contribute.

hope i can help on that front . its only a couple of phone calls eh !
will do tomorrow if you are up for it.
for them : thruxton cicuit , early jan , weekend , no expense (unless track time), fill the car park, use your cafe, bar,and all the other services the track offers (skid pan / go kart) publicity, (get the local rag up there).
.
for us: parade laps around the circuit (£5.00 ?) meet fellow petrol heads, bit of a car show , flaunt your exotic / love of your life co% lover (is earl pembroke a ph member , as he passed me in his buggati yesterday !).
plan ?
I like the sound of that. We can have an early meet at Goodwood and then meet up at Thruxton for about lunchtime (midday?) If you can use your contact to get things sorted at Thruxton that would be brill. I know with this much notice we can attract a fair few cars from the southern region.will do tomorrow if you are up for it.

I'll put a link in the Events section too. I think at this stage only fixing the date is needed. Are we happy to go for Sunday 4th Jan '09?

I arrange something similar last year for the TVR crew, unless you have got very good contacts at Thruxton, the best you can hope for is to meet up in the car park, and kick some tyres, we just used it for a hour stopover.
Some one stuck a video of us all leaving on You Tube, the link is on the bottom of this post, disgusting behaviour though![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
I normally arrange something at that time of the year, so maybe a joint TVR/PH meet might be on the cards if you don`t mind slumming it with some plastic pigs?![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
