Hi
Just got a 93 camaro & needs work for mot, anyone know somebody good with these sorts? i live at havant, the nearer the better! Even this age car has to go on diganostics to find out whats wrong with abs!!! It has been disconnected 7 years ago, warning light removed & passed all mot no problem at lots of diffrent garages, all of a sudden i take it to this place!!
The mot station must only do brand new fords the way it has hammered mine!
cheers

Where do you take your for mot as this garage where i have had mine done is sort of saying "its american, & you will struggle to mot it in this country" even though it has had 6 mot s at diffrent garages over the years???

I have always used Crowborough Coachworks in Crowborough. The owner has a Mustang and I never had a problem. They are used to funny sized number plates and all the other foibles that we take for granted. I know it is a bit of a trek for you but worth it I would have thought.
Yes thats quite a trot for me!
The main problem is that my abs brake system has been disconnected for 6 years (Dont know who or why was done , as it was before i had car!) it has no light on dash but the mot station has said that it would have been on car as there is something under boonet he spotted to say that the car had it!
These sensors to but are about £1000 so not worth doing it really, shame as the brakes are great but do not have the anti skid bit!
its a shame as all the other garages passed it without prob!
