No worries, I just dont want to turn up to a meet in my 1.8 focus! Should be getting an ST220 soon which will be (a bit) more fitting!

Due to popular demand, following discussions with strangers in bars wink we'll see about holding another meet. We had an excellent turnout of a variety of different vehicles, lets do it again and gauge even more interest! Who's ready?

Depends when it is. With usual timing for these meets it will be when I am out of the country.

I must have had a fair bit to drink, because I could have sworn I heard you say that you were going to swap the Mini for a bloaty Mk4 Golf GTi wink

Comfort, Power, Reliability. Sounds too good to be true! I still want a daily drive. Not looking forwards to this winter, especially with the slicks on.

This seems pretty close to Liverpool.. I'll be going over at the start of September for University.

I might try and keep up to date with any meets, maybe try and take a trip over sometime. What would be the best way to get? I won't have a car with me, although i'd be tempted to look about a car/bike early next year.

[Mike Brewer] Step this way young man [/mike brewer] . . . . . . . . . it's going to be a month or two till I get a replacement for the Golf (havent even ordered it yet) so have a Mk1 Eunos in dark blue, with a new 12 month ticket to use till then . . . . . .adjustable Koni's, ARB's, poly bushes etc all sitting in a corner of the workshop waiting for a free hour or two

Train and bus probably.

Cottage Loaf isnt easiest place to get to. Keep an eye out and someone may be coming from L'pool side I guess.

Heswall bus station to the Cottage loaf in 5 minutes by foot confused its almost 2 miles away! . . . . . . . . . . . . far easier to jump on the afformentioned 472 and jump off it on the other side of the roundabout to the Cottage Loaf, although I'm sure if asked nicely somebody will pick him up from WK station smile

The 5 mins walk bit made me chuckle too. You're looking at probably nearer to an hour than 5 mins!!

If I'm about then train to West Kirby and it's a 5 min drive up to the Cottage Loaf so quite happy to collect from station.

Never used a bus in my life so can't help with that one.
