The 2014 Yorkshire Spotted Thread

Black McLaren 12C Spider and orange Evora in Leeds city centre.
Volcano Red McLaren 12C and black TVR Griffith in M1 roadworks at Wakefield.
Red Ferrari Mondial + white 997 GT3 going past Hillsborough.

Also saw one of these in Leeds, same colour, haven't seen one in years.

Complete twonk in a blue Astra VXR doing the best part of a ton on the mad mile (A63), passenger giving me and my teenage daughter the w sign out of the window. I'm assuming he doesn't like red cars or people doing 50 in a 50.

It was on kirkstall Road near the shell garage heading towards the city/motorways. I think it was a dark blue. Looked lovely, I'd pick it it over an m5..

I'm not a BMW fan and I really don't like the new M5...but that I would have in a heartbeat. Love the colour too. Need to have a drive of one at some point.

I've spotted two so far in Leeds (both black/dark blue) and one last year at Spa Francorchamps. Lovely looking cars, would take one over the F10 M5.

Speaking of which, spotted a black F10 burbling down Kirkstall Road this afternoon. Sounded nice even at low speeds. Silver R35 GTR making progress on the Ring Rd in West Park again in the afternoon.

Saw a white 500 Abarth with a rather nice sounding exhaust tearing it up Butcher Hill on Wednesday night. I think someone else has spotted that one too. Oh and a white V6 F Type S with the roof up on Kirkstall Road on Friday in the traffic.

Gorgeous things, you can get 30k off a new one, I've seen a stunner for sale with carbon brakes + individual full leather that listed at 120k with 8k on it for less than 70k at 6mth old, oh to have money!

There are quite a few of the original press cars, which have done under 5K miles and are pretty well kitted out, in the AUC network for around the 70K mark.

Stunning Ferrari 360 Spider driving through York the other day, with the roof down of course, looking fantastic. Few other gems in York like a C5 Corvette in a small carpark, some rare AMG Mercs including an E55 Estate and a CLK55 Coupe. Ferrari 308, 2013 Aston DB9 Volante in a creamy Pearlescent White colour, and a BMW 1 Series M Coupe with the plate 'BMW1M' one of the best number plates I've ever seen. All spotted while in York with GTRJacko.

Black 458 at sainsburys Greengates yesterday, had an orange interior...

TVR Tuscan with its roof off today on the road heading to cleckheaton from the bottom of M606. Not a TVR geek, never knew they were Targas, or is there a Targa version? Looked great regardless.

Then a Ferrari California followed me from eccleshill to Rawdon this afternoon.

Also in Rawdon saw the back of an American Truck which sounded like it had a monster V8 in it
