We had a Delorean years ago and it was the biggest pile of slow crap i have ever driven.
Still, many kudos points awarded for going down that route thumbup
Indeed, despite their foibles and lack of speed they are on my list of in the future (no pun intended) cars.

They are an old Renault V6 coupled to an equally as old slushmatic gearbox iirc?

I saw an aggressive looking 991 turbo S in horsforth earlier, and a pearly white alfa 4/8c (I didn't get a good look) the other side of Weetwood roundabout.

Both looked awesome

I hope you didn't hear the noise from my brakes as I drove past. Saying that they might have been drowned out by the blowing exhaust.

Saw a young bloke in a gold Morris Marina in Sheffield earlier, replete with Status Quo on full blast.

Also a Rover P6.

That would be the Avro Mirage 720 variant then, one of only ten made. A bit more info here: http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/alfa-romeo/gt/...

Yeh that's the one. I can't believe that video was taken about 10 minutes from my parents house in Sheffield. Some serious cars on that video!

Regarding the orange GT, passed the Ferrari dealers last night and can confirm it's the Avro Mirage 720 edition, currently sat gleaming in the front window.
Will have to re-visit I think, looked bloody lovely.

Will have to have a look again tonight when I go home. I wonder how much it's going to go on sale for. Plus I wonder what the owner traded it in for?

Is the MC12 still in the showroom? Never got round to going back whilst the dealership was open to have a proper look at it.
