Thanks very much. Not to everyones taste, but I love it. Did you get any good shots from the bridge?
Nah it was only the bog standard lens on the camera (my sister won't shell out for a decent lense...and I won't shell out for my own camera!) so they're nothing special unfortunately 2eleven said:

Thanks for that. It's a bit of a "Marmite" colour - you either love it or hate it. If you check my profile it gives all the details of the colour. Basically, the car was back at the factory when it was 11 months old in order to upgrade it to the latest spec (adding latest version of the glovebox lid, the newly introduced tonneau cover blind for the luggage area, etc. and some paint rectification work).
I asked whether or not there was any chance of them changing the colour (Red Bull Blue) whilst it was there as whilst it looked great when clean, it did "die" a little if the car was anything less than mint and if the sun wasn't shining!
The factory called me after a week or so and said that they had had a few issues trying to get the paint right and, as it had taken 10 days and I had been inconvenienced, they agreed to change the colour but I only had 12 hours to choose a colour (that also had to match the blue and grey interior).
I had had a mint green Peugeot 406 Coupe company car in the past and so fancied that shade and opted for Vauxhall's Space Green (a colour you see on the occassional Corsa!!).
All of this work, including the upgrades, was done free of charge (the respray included full strip down - screen out, doors off and stripped, seat backs, etc.). No wonder they struggled to make money!
Once agin, thanks for the complimentary comments.
Excellent story Snakes, and not the first time I've heard such stories from TVR owners on here. It seems they really went the extra mile for their customers, what a massive shame it ended the way it did. By the way, I was firmly in the "love" camp of this colour. It really suits the lines of the car perfectly.I asked whether or not there was any chance of them changing the colour (Red Bull Blue) whilst it was there as whilst it looked great when clean, it did "die" a little if the car was anything less than mint and if the sun wasn't shining!

That's odd! They let me on and I don't have a 'supercar'?
I have the email somewhere, its just a standard style reply that my registration didn't meet the requirements. Then another email asking about my car of which i owned none so didn't seem much point in replying.

Thanks for uploading those. That's me in my GTR in the first one. Didn't realise I had such a line of cars chasing me at the time! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsovcW3wH1Y
Although I had that R8 with me for a bit further down the road. Shame the traffic was too heavy to play.

It was my turn to play with the silver V10 R8 today, we had a cracking time with all manner of exotica involved in secret filming for Supercardriver.club. should be a blast when it's done.
Dont suppose on your video that 7mins long you have another 1min into it of the cars leaving as I left about then!?BIST0 said:

Where else in the world could we have spent a day chasing an Enzo, Superleggera, V10 R8, V12 Aston and a Viper! I'm amazed that nobody spotted us on here....all the Pistonheaders must have been shopping with the wife!
Im can't believe we were not spotted either, we also did nearly 400 miles yesterday (inc Evo triangle ) with 20 other supercars and still no spots on here.....Gassing Station | Yorkshire | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
