Thanks once again to the great team at Specialist Cars of Malton. I aim one day to be a customer and my resolve gets stronger each time I come. Current fancies were the Aprillia & GSXR as well as the Caterham R300 & of course a 993 GT2! More Fiat's than usual to peruse too!

Thansk to everyone who made the event a great success. We're just packing up, it seems to have been a very long day!!

A quick pic from today, some more to follow.

Did anyone else hear the barrage of abuse coming from the woman in the haulage yard at the bottom of the road ?

Along the lines of "How the F**K can we get a lorry down this B*****D road with all these F**KING cars on the road" . . funny thing was we didn't see any lorries even trying to get down the road!!

I did not hear that but I also saw a disgruntled woman at one of the businesses at the top of the Ind Est asking (admittedly more politely) people not to park in their car park when they were actually closed! Madness.

Fantastic meet. Thanks to all at Specialist Cars for making the morning what it was. Hope that the TVR S we saw broken down on the way home on the A64 towards Selby was nothing serious.

Thanks Specialist Cars... a really good day.. nice blast from Blackpool to arrive at 08:25 bit foggy and frost warning coming over the tops on the A59. Then then back the long way via Thirsk, Hawes and Ribblehead.
Thanks especially to the guy telling us about the 1972 Porche refurbish and the very knowledgeable paintshop guy who really enjoyed his job... and the coffee and butty girls smile

Great meet! Some amazing cars, particularly the older Porsches.

However, noise of the day has to go to the Superleggera! Wow! It sounded like some prehistoric animal waking up from hibernation. IMHO obviously.

It was definitely appreciated. Thanks...and thanks to John and all his team for a great day out and a worthy cause. I talked to a few of the Malton guys and they were all fab. Not been before but I spoke to Sam about booking my E30 M3 in for them to check out when it comes out of hibernation in March, just to keep it tiptop.

I might ask them if they can make it sound like your SL, to scare the bejesus out of my neighbours (LOL).

Very little is standard on that, not least of all the Porsche 962 engine!!
