If this Sunday is done by about 12ish then I could probably be up for it as it would still give me time to get along to BNG up at Ripon.

Otherwise, mid september is good for me.

Yep - same here!

Could get there by 1.00ish but there's a rumble in Harrogate then a big meet at 11.00am.

September is also very good for me!

Correct, Simon rang me last night and we didn't have the numbers for Sunday.

So what about these other dates everyone?

I'm up for any time still (weekend day)

Those karts look similar to the ones at Daytona in Milton Keynes, though on that track there is nowhere to get them really quick as most of the straights are uphill.

I think too many people would end up with broken bones

Good circuit though, shame there are no similar circuits around Yorkshire as the height variations make the track really enjoyable!

James and I might be OK if it is next weekend on the 10th but he goes off to university from the 16th Sept. We would be happy to pay for a kart as a three but be a two man team if that helps with numbers.

I will want you to pay a small deposit in advance.

I'll post it on a few other PH boards to see if we can get the numbers up a bit as there are a few (Mark) who can't make weekends.

16th is good for me.

If you let me know cost and send me your sort/account number by email I'll transfer a deposit for you.

I'm guessing equipment is provided, just need to bring myself and brain along.

I went to this track last sunday for one of the endurance races (1hr 45m) and had a great day, especially as it was my first time karting.

The track we used was smooth with no potholes etc.

The whole set up seemed very professional, with all the lap times etc shown on tv screen indoors and we were all given a printed sheet at the end which showed each teams position lap by lap so on the way home you can work out who lost the race for you, lol.

All in all a good day and would recommend it to you all, id be up for it again but am down at Brands Hatch at the end of the month so am financially embarrassed paperbag

Oh and for those that haven’t done the track before, it is flat out except for the hairpins at each end, in the dry at least.

Enjoy.

Would be interested in this & could drag along @ least 2 of my mates.

Burriana will vouch for my Barnsley driving skills.

Let me know if you get enough people together with a confirmed date.

We used to go 2 teeside karting many moons ago, they have a great outdoor circuit.
