My mother always said that suede brogues were a mark of "one of them".

Swede brogues were a mark of an idiot.

it's started.

for the non-harrogatians out there smart casual is fine - clubs in town stopped worrying about dress codes ages ago hell there's even a Flares for you olds although tainers are a no-no of course in clubs.

Montys do cocktials 2 for 1 up to 9 o'clock, the mexican restaurant is pretty lively on a saturday night, the food is all the same just folded in a different way.

BTP will be wobbling over to my place for about 18:00, so we will hit town at around 19:00.
What time is everyone else getting to Harrow-Gate?

Afternoon Mike I feel remarkably good today considering Tony, Tom and myself were still playing GT4 round le sarthe at 07:45 this morning. Watching the racing at Harewood in the cold and wet may have helped.

Thanks to everyone for making a great night out - best I have had for quite a while. Good job I didn't get on the dance floor after a couple of pints - I might have made a tit of myself.

Well that was a fantastic nite out!
However, my hangover has got a hangover !

Mike, you must have some fantasic shots of the event. Once you've run them by the British board of Censors, can you post them ?

Bob You left the remains of the bottle of port we opened at 05:00 this morning !

(Bloody Hell, Its impossible to drive an Audi R8 round Le Mans when you're totally hammered)

You know what Chimearas are like - quite quiet really. It was about 12:45 - I went to join Wazzer, Bert, Mauds, TVRBob & PeeKey6 at Harewood.

Tom looked pretty rough at 12:30 when I went to get my keys & phone. Young'ens eh - just can't stand them pace

I did not have a hangover. When I was speaking with Simon & Alex during the afternoon the consensus was that you don't get a hangover after the second night out.

I thought it was etiquet to leave an opened bottle at your hosts. Enjoy - it might help the hangover ! Oh and I thought it was nearer to 06:00 - I didn't think we left the htel until after 05:00.

The Audi R8 was a bit of a hand full. I enjoyed the DB9 & Merc though - A lot easier to handle when you are wrecked. Tom was having a but of a problem with the DB9 though, a whole lap going the wrong was was not the best way to try and beat me I seem to remember him saying that he was going to beat me by at least 10 seconds - don't remember him even finishing the races.

Thanks for a great night Guys. Pleased to report that collateral damage was minimal, unlike some of you.

Satch... bring on the pics, but only nice ones please.

Didn't recognise too much damage yesterday, however this morning is a different issue

The present made it through the night intact then ?

There was a moment of panic caused by a lost spinner, but otherwise it is still in pristine condition. I think I may have to keep it for BT&P.
