Last few days I've seen a fair bit
Sports Classic 911 in Harrogate
Green Chimaera on Pool Bank
Black C63 AMG estate on Pool Bank
White Red and Black F Type Coupes in Harrogate on various days
Green Ferrari pretty sure it was a 458 in the centre of town but my gf was talking my ear off so she had my full attention, just caught a glimpse of the back end of the Ferrari

The owner of the Aston is the daughter of one of the Grumbleweeds. This is his award winning Anglia (Newby Hall last year) that he built from scratch i/e new floor, boot, wings etc etc and painted himself. Not bad for a 70+ year old entertainer.
I have friends whose father was in the Grumbleweeds too. Not a car enthusiast though. Well you don't see that very often...
In the middle of Stanley by the corner shop, waiting to cross and watching the traffic, and thought... hmm that looks like an 850. Dark blue and shiny, obviously looked after. And lo, my spidey senses were correct, it was an L reg 850ci. Howmanyleft says there are only 34 still on the road!
I wish I had taken a photo though, because the bloke driving it must have been 80, wearing a flat cap, thick coat and muffler, with what looked like his wife in the passenger seat.
L80LLL was MOTed in August at 31,093 miles - that's just 1400 miles a year! MOT history bears it out though, doing around 1000 miles between tests. 1 or 2 advisories on old tests but no fails makes me think it is well looked after, and maybe one owner since new? Either way, well done sir!

Who has a purple Mitsubishi on here? Is it a GR4 or something and were you on Queenswood drive either this morning or yesterday afternoon?
That would be me with the VR4 which is looking particularly sheddy at the moment on winter wheels and a few missing centre caps. I commute down Queenswood Drive on a daily basis. What were you in? giblet said:
