Also, and has been said they do know how to cater for groups of both Four and Two wheels and has some great roads nearby.
Bad news is Police presence and during the summer it's not only Sunday and Wednesday the car park maybe full of bikes.
The pasties taste ok, but I've been informed that they're quite dangerous!
The coffee isn't bad though, takes a special establishment to balls up a cup of coffee

What about The Chequers Inn in Ledsham? It's just off the A1M so handy for most and I'm sure I heard that the Landlord is a bit of a petrolhead? Definately less exposed and has a decent sized car park! 
That is where the Ferrari Owners Club have their monthly meet. Nice pub with a very nice garden area.Yeah, I'll hopefully be there....
As regards the venue and night and appearances. This year has been a bit of a washout for me, I think I've managed once but with work, new born, and holidays they've all taken their piece of my time.
The venue is a bit exposed but for me the night doesn't make a difference as I'm either offshore or not. So long as it's not Tuesday as thats my snowboard night at CasVegas or Thursday as thats her volleyball night and I have to look after the wee man
Any of the suggestions, Chequers, Fox and Grapes or Squires would be a decent change and might freshen things up a bit. Somewhere with decent roads nearby for the summer nights would be good to.

I would echo some of the comments already made really, a new venue would be good squires I would say is ideal. Problem with xscape again is it always bloody freezing and you'd be a long way from the cars if you went to get a drink or anything.
I'd suggest moving it from Monday too. I always seem to be too late back from work on a Monday to get n then ready and back out can be a rush. I'm sure whichever day you pick it will be bad for someone though!

We propose a ONE OFF only meet at the venue below. This is aimed at giving local PHers the chance to evaluate the proposed new venue and facilities.
If all goes to plan the monthly meet will be a mix of 'car admiration' and then a get together for a chat, drink / bite to eat.
