I know what I want but I'm not sure on the sizes as I've not got a frame yet. I'll try and get something sorted by tonight and will let you know.
eh? confused

Just decide how big you want the pic, then buy a frame that's bigger. Doesn't have to be exact as the mount will take care of the excess surround. As a rough guide allow at least 2" of mount board surrounding the picture. Obviously, the bigger the pic, the wider the surround to keep it in proportion.

Feck me ... I'll give you a clue Jonty ... the vehicle I was driving on said occasion is big, black, 4WD, powered by a 3.0 Merc engine and has JEEP in big letters on the back ... but granted, it was dark when he passed us as we trundled along at 65 debating whether we'd reach the next petrol station or not ... so easy mistake to make smile

Never actually 'had' the 850. It was one of Michael's.

When it came to it I went with my head over my heart. The car was far too good and special to be used for the 1.5 mile trundle to work each day and much as I tried to convince myself that it would be used on the weekends, it just wouldn't.

It would have been a waste of the car and it deserves to go to someone who will get a lot more enjoyment and use out of it than I ever would have.

And I still get a feeling of "should I have shouldn't I have" every time I see one ... last time was last week to be precise, on top of a mountain in southern Spain!

Did it go somewhere local Michael?

And I need to call you later about giving the 7 a thorough once over and Inspection service yes

Justin does the same thing at the jenny Wren - Sundays through winter, evenings Spring through to Autumn. A good idea I agree, Sunday prior to the second Monday of each month?
As does NYTVRCC as does WYTVRCC, not too many Sundays in a month.

Luckily I think that is one area on this one that may be in tip top condition. I'm sure Michael will be along soon to tell you more but it sounds like he has found a bloody gem!

It is a cracker and I'd love to drive round in it just to wait for the first person to say, "Duh, what a stupid private plate", and then scratch their heads in complete incomprehension when you tell them it is the original plate issued by whatever the DVLA was called in those days smile
