I'd be interested in attending both a hoon in summer and one before, regardless of the weather! Haven't done a proper run out like that in ages.

Ok chaps, let's try and find a date for an early morning run. First suggestions:

Sunday March 17
Sunday March 24

Meeting place on the A59 between Harrogate and Skipton in time to leave at 7am prompt. 40/50 miles then a stop for a quick bacon roll. 40/50 miles back to end around the same kind of area at. Around 9-9.15am ish.

Taking in a combination of fast, open A Roads, twisty B Roads and a steep pass or two. All cars welcome, sensible driving an absolute must.

So, the traditional list:

I think you are being optimistic with times Ben. I reckon two legs of fifty miles will have us back nearer 10-10:30, which would be too late for me starting work at 11am.

Al, once we have a group of the right size I'll draw up two routes. A shorter and a longer.

The end time will be fixed though as I'll need to be back in Skipton before 10 latest and am sure others have stuff on.

If we want to go longer we'll have to meet/start earlier.
