Route's planned. Think I've a good mixture of interesting roads to drive along and have picked a pub I've never been to before, but has been recommended highly to me.. Hopefully the sun will come out and dry the roads off a little..

Couple of people have suggested I keep the exact details of the route off line, so I'll type them up and email them to a couple of you that I've already got email addresses for. Will have a few printed copies on the day too..

Meet at Ladybower as planned, (I'll pick the Leeds lot up and lead them through the city towards the A57). Depending on road conditions and presence of numpties, I think we will be sat in the pub ready to eat about an hour later.

Could you e-mail me the route please, 10.30 is too early for me to meet but, providing the weather is ok, i would like to meet a little later in the day, maybe after youve all eaten.

Thanks Phil

I would say it will take you about 2 hours to get to Woolley Edge from Worcester. M5, M42, M1. Probably 1hr 40 if you meet Rods, Nubbin etc further down the motorway instead of coming further north to double back again.

Right, off the see what's happening with my email

If anyone thinks they might get lost, they can always meet Rods and myself at J31 - just take the A57 towards Sheffield for half a mile or so, and we'll be in the lay-by at 10.30-ish.

Does that help? M1, J31 at 10:30 (ish)

Directions and a map emailed to a couple of people; paper copies will be avaliable on the day. I've organised someone that knows where we are going to head up the *cough cough* convoy and another at the rear to catch stragglers.

Anyone else want an email copy, drop me a line to my profile and I'll get back to you..

Be a good idea if someone has a video camera handy, I think the noise we may make going up Winnats pass might be worth recording We are in no hury hurry to get to lunch so we can make a couple of runs at it and maybe stop for a photo shoot somewhere if the rain holds off, (latest forecast looks good).

See you all tomorrow..

There's going to be some...........

I've just been checking the current location of South Yorks talivans for you guys.

Guess what?

They've stopped publishing the info on the website, and the link in Sheffield Shitty, er, City Council's website doesn't work.

I have asked some questions...................

Be aware they use the A57, near J31.

Not a cloud in the sky over here now..

We are taking the A61 from J36 towards town, I'll have just driven up it, so will keep an eye open..

You are right, they've stopped publishing the locations of the mobile vans..

Hi - I reckon I owe a lot of you guys an apology for not turning up today after so many of you offered the chance of passenger rides. Sadly I had 'more important' (read extremely boring and extremely compulsary) commitments.

Hope you all had a great run, I'd have loved to be there! I'll join you next time with luck.
